The word Lallation (from German “Lallen”, “stammering”) means a baby’s phonetic behaviour from about the fifth to the eleventh month of life. This physiologic growth leads to a oro-pharyngeal co-ordination improvement such as to realize a repetition of syllables – couples of sounds composed by a labial consonant (b, m, p) and the vowel “a”: ma-ma, for example – that doesn’t hide a strong playful component. In the composition I decided to scour an oneiric trip that anticipates and leads to the stammering stage (. . das Lallen) starting from a restless but sensuous imaginary dance of gametes (. . der Tanz), followed by the meeting, full of surprise and mystery (. . das Geheimnis), between cells to give life to the zygote. From this moment the new creature will be dipped into a variegated loud world where internal noises and external sounds converge (. . die Erwartung). These noises and sounds are stifled by the characteristic amniotic situation, before the creature comes into the world (. . die Geburt) in the presence of the mother, ravished by her own rapture and forgetful of her own labour.

Il termine Lallazione (dal tedesco “Lallen”, “balbettio”) indica un comportamento fonetico del bambino che va dal quinto all’undicesimo mese di vita circa e che corrisponde ad una crescita fisiologica e ad un miglioramento della coordinazione orofaringea tali da realizzare, nella fusione di suoni e rumori, una ripetizione di sillabe - coppie di suoni formate da una consonante labiale (b, m, p) e dalla vocale “a”: ma-ma, per esempio - che non nasconde una forte componente ludica. Nella composizione si è voluto percorrere un viaggio onirico che anticipa e conduce verso la fase del balbettio (. . das Lallen) partendo da una irrequieta ma sensuosa danza immaginaria dei gameti (. . der Tanz), cui fa seguito l’incontro, gravido di sorpresa e mistero (. . das Geheimnis), fra le cellule per dar vita allo zigote. Da qui la nuova creatura verrà immersa in un variegato mondo sonoro cui convergono rumori interni e suoni esterni filtrati e soffocati dalla caratteristica dimensione amniotica (. . die Erwartung), prima di manifestarsi in piena luce (. . die Geburt) al cospetto della madre, rapita dal proprio entusiasmo e dimentica del proprio travaglio.
